lanea's Story
Lanea Stagg is the author of the Recipe Records Cookbook Series:
Recipe Records, Recipe Records-The 60's Edition and the celebrated Recipe Records-A Culinary Tribute to The Beatles. The rock and roll-themed cookbooks combine food and music with a clever twist! Lanea co-authored Recipe Records with her late best friend, Maggie McHugh (1967-2011), together they created a cookbook style that invites you to infuse music into your culinary setting. Invite your friends to "jam" with recipes such as "Rock and Roll Hoochie Couscous," "Guac Like a Man," "You Say Goodbye, I Say Jell-O," and hundreds more! The recipes include a "Suggested Song List" which provides tunes that "pair well" with the recipe. After the death of McHugh, Stagg eventually completed their work on the 60's edition, which features food and music from the Swingin' 60's! In celebration of 50 years of The Beatles, Lanea's tribute to the Fab 4 was published in 2014.
Lanea resides in Southern Indiana with her family, where she writes for many projects, conducts presentations, cooking lessons and more.
